OBS was really AWESOME!

I belonged to group Raffles which is part of -
Camp 2 Delta which consist of two other group Raleigh and Magellan(sp?)
I met a lot of wonderful new friends.
I will miss all the stuff except the insect bites. Going fr OBS , you have to be Mentally and physically prepared. Really. One the very first day they will already challenge you physically with th bag packing and stuff. It's hard. You will knw when you go. Night hike was no fun either. You have to carry a bag weighing 8kg plus walking through th forest. Your own torchlight is th only source of light.
Two nigths out in the forest. Peeing in th bushes , well you cant expect having toilets in th middle of a forest. I had to hold my pee fr tht two nights.Lucky during th day i rushed fr toilets whenever i see one. First night my group went to th toilet together. Yes th whole group but of course th girls looked away while the guys try out the new toilet.

Land expedition , you are basically on your own. Having a compass an a map you have to navigate yourself through the forest to reach the checkpoints. I tell you , it's a no easy job. Every where you go it looks the same. Worst you are caryying tht 8 kg bag. Total we walked arnd 8 click plus. Ohh, and back trekking became one of my "hobby".

Sea expedition. Wonderful! Camp 2 Delta kayak 21 click. Kayak through th swamp. The water there , gross. When you are tired you will start to get angry , getting angry makes you scold your own team mates. And tht happens in my Group. But we keeps encouraging each other although we were tired. At last , we splash water onto each other. Banging each others kayak. It works. After kayak had jetty jump. everyone was dead tired.

There's alot of memories tht i would definitely keep with me forever. I'm glad , i gotten an awesome group. :D
